Biblio Times / From the Editor

The Dystopian edition

Since Biblio Times 1.1.4 there has been a third edition beside Biblio and Digital. It is the same paper, printed the way a ministry would print it: grey pulp, the name in condensed capitals with the orange landing a little off the black, a typewriter for the copy, and every lead picture stamped Verified by the Bureau of Records. The pages turn with a thinner, crackly sound.

We made a short film of it for Halloween. The edition in it is dated 31 October, and the voice reading it has been told that every story is correct, and has always been correct.

Choose it in the menu under the paper's name, or in Settings. Rough paper, in the same menu, lets the ink drop out of the type and puts more bark in the sheet. It is off unless you turn it on.

With the Press Pass, the name across the front page is yours to write, and this edition sets it in capitals, as a form is. The launch price of US$14.99 also ends on 31 October; after that the pass is US$19.99, bought once. More about the paper at biblio.ink/times.

Please enjoy your news.
